How to get high marks in university


After completing school days, no one wants to do hard work to get high marks in university. But without hard work it’s very difficult to get huge marks. There are some tips that will help you to get good marks in university. Initially students normally do not give attention to their studies and when the exam comes near, searches on internet like how to get good marks and tips to score high marks without preparation and hard work begins to starts.


There are some tips that will help you to Score high marks in your university examination.


Starting of Paper: First impression is the last impression. So try to start your paper with a well prepared question.

Black and Blue Pen: Red pens are not allowed in the examination, so you should use black and blue pen in your examination.

Neat and clean: all answers should be in neat and clean hand writing. it give a positive impression over examiner.

Point wise Answers: Try to write your answer in point wise format. Write the title, make it bold or you can also use black pen, start writing your answer.


Heading and underline: Always underline each and every question, make it dark or underline the question number by black pen. It will provide a clear view to the examiner.

Leave Sufficient space: Leave sufficient space in between in your answers. If you are starting new questions give space of minimum 4 to 5 lines.


Graphs and Diagrams: Don’t leave graphs and diagrams. Always try to solve them first as these questions can offer you high marks if answered properly. Don’t leave any graphical question un-attempted. If you don’t know how to explain it properly, no problem, just make graphs properly which is most important and then start explaining it.


Books to prepare: If you don’t have enough time to practice, must prepare at least few last year solved sample paper questions. Definitely you will get more then passing marks even though you have not studies whole year.


Don’t leave any question blank, if you have any idea about the topic, attempt it but at last.

How to Study Economics 


Economics is new subjects for those who have taken Arts and Commerce after CBSE 10th class. Economics is very interesting subject and needs a deep understanding. It consist practical questions, theoretical questions, diagram and graphs.


Students need to understand the concept first. If you have a good understanding of concept you would learn the question quickly. Graphs are the core of economics, so you need to give an extra effort on graphs. Many times the question is based entirely on graphical presentation; you need to answer the question with the help and on the basis of graphs only.


Graphs always based on numerical data. So it is also important to take those data figures only that match with your graphs as well. Apart from Graphs there are some numerical questions as well like calculate national income, GDP, NDP at fc etc. there are some formulas to solve these questions. Learn those and always have a revision after 1 month.


Give at least one hour a day for economics. On your weekends revise whatever you have prepared in that week. At the month end again review all your topics. Now you will feel confident in the topic you have covered. Revisions after specific intervals is must, it fix the topic in your mind permanently. Don’t forget to practice all your graphs as well.

About Cbse Solved question paper for the last 10 years


Students must practice the last 10 year cbse question papers.

How to practice:

Buy any good cbse solved sample paper that consist all the solved question papers of CBSE board examinations for at least past 10 years. If you have finished your cbse NCERT Books and have a good command of each and every topic of your text book then it is the good time to practice these all.


Select one of 10 years question paper, set your alarm watch for 3 hours and start solving it. Ask your family member not to disturb you meanwhile.

Don't look for any help from any of your help book and do it sincerely. Match the answers of solved question paper with the solution after you have completed the question paper. Check your performance, what your weak areas are, and where you need to work hard.


You would be able to judge yourself. Now after knowing your weak and strong areas work accordingly to improve more. Now again find time for 3 hours and again go for a practice like your board exams. Repeat the same procedure after your completion and solve out your problems. Check your timing as well, how much time it took to finish a paper. Did you able to finish it within the time limit, if not then try to find out which portion of your question paper took your time?

It takes time to speak English Fluently. It will take your time if you are a beginner and learning it from the initial stage. For those who have the knowledge of basics grammar, tenses and speaking but could not speak English fluently. Watch the English movies as I have already discussed, watch the discovery channel in English, read English newspaper daily.



How to read the newspaper?

Jus reading will not improve your speaking fluency but you will have to make some extra efforts for that. Take a paper and pen with dictionary. Read a topic and note down all the difficult words. Try to find out the meaning form the dictionary and write down on the paper. Learn them and again start reading the same topic. Now this time you will feel more confident. Make this your schedule and practice it on regular basis. Apart form reading newspaper there are many more things like magazines, gadgets and manuals.


Improve Vocabulary: as I have mentioned above that vocabulary is very important for every one. No one is perfect; there are n numbers of new words. Try to improve your vocabulary and note it down on a book.




Study English Every day:  First make you habitual to study English on daily basis. Learn the new words every day and try to cover at least 50 words per week (no too much). Keep revising the words meaning that so that you can keep it for longer time.

Through Reading: reading news papers, magazines and English text books are also very good to improve your English. First start with the book that you like that most, you will not only find it interesting but also be able to understand better without even a dictionary. So for example if you love watching and playing cricket then start with cricket news. You would fee that you can understand it better and compare to the news that you don’t like to read.

Movies & TV News: Today there are lots of sources which provide us a great and easy source of learning and improving English. Don’t start with new movies, starting watching movie that you like the most and concentrate on the dialogues. Understanding these would be easier and better to you compare to new movies. Watch TV news on daily basis, it would be easier to understand TV news compare to radio. Be ready with paper and pen and note down the difficult words.

Make Strategies: you should set some targets like 30 minutes study on daily basis and learning at least 50 to 60 words per week. Also use them in your own sentence.

What if you feel bore, it has been notice what every activity you do, one time you definitely fee bore. So try to switch to the interesting things when you feel bore. Studying forcefully will not be helpful.

List of Indian Institute of Technology consist a complete list of institutes that offer higher education in India and also known as institute of national importance. There are currently total 13 engineering and technology institutes in India. These iits are known for high quality educations and develops skilled engineers and scientists.


There are 7 iits in India and these are located in different cities like Delhi, Guwahati, Bombay, Madras,Kharagpur,Roorkee and Kanpur. In the coming years more IITs would be established as per the government and total number of IITs would be 16. These new IITs would be established in Indore, Varanasi, Bihar, Hyderabad, Orissa, Gandhinagar, Rupnagar and Mandi. If you want to take admission in any of these IITs, you will have to clear joint entrance exam JEE. All these IITs follow the same rule for admission in undergraduate courses. This exam is also known as IIT-JEE. If you are willing to take admission for post graduate courses, then it is based on JMET, GATE, JAM and CEED.


The oldest IIT is Kharagpur IIT. Kharagpur IIT also has medical technology school, management school, infrastructure designing school and a low school. It is spread over 8.5 km of area or we can say over 2100 acre. After its great popularity more IITs were created and the second one was in Bombay. In next year that was 1959, two more IITs were established in Kanpur and Madaras. In the year of 1961, Delhi IIT was established. Then the IIT Guwahat was established.


Although IIT Roorkee was the oldest university and also became the first technical university of India in 1949 but was counted among these seven IITs in 2001.


IIT-JEE exams are one of the toughest exams at cbse 10+2 level. As it is very competitive exam so it naturally requires a specific coaching. Earlier its pattern was too tough as compare to present exam pattern.

Students who are preparing for IIT-JEE needs work extremely hard to crack IIT-JEE, AIPMT etc exams. These exams are counted among the toughest entrance exams. To get success in these examinations with good marks is not too easy. So students need not specially work hard with pre panning. Many serious students also take few hours of sleep and devote as much as time they can to their studies.


Here are some tips for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects how to prepare them. First of all students should make a schedule and time table for the study as they not only prepare for IIT JEE but also for CBSE Board Examinations, so they have to cover other subjects as well along with entrance exams preparation. They also have to score good in their board examinations.


If you are preparing for these entrance exams then try to save time, you can take leaves from your school if you find your class worthless for you. It has been seen that students not able to utilize their time in schools properly. They have to attend the class whether it is worth you or not. But don’t go for too many leaves as it has already been announced by CBSE( Central Board of Secondary Education) that students must have 75% of attendance to be appear for the CBSE board examination.


Make full use of your weekends and holiday. Don’t waste these precious days in extra activities. Make a tight schedule for study and study according to that. But also don’t forget to take a small break while studying. Continuous studying is also not good for mind as well as health. So whenever you feel tired or bore take a small break. Try to utilize your break time for your favorite game if possible or any other activity you like most. But it should not be more than 15 minutes.


Study topics form your each for at least 1 hour. Means you have to give at least one hour for every book. If you are unable to solve something, leave it as it can put you in sleep mode. Means you can feel bore and sleepy if you stuck in some question. Try to solve it by taking hint from your colleagues or tutor.


Revision is also important with preparation so in weekdays make your schedule to revise what every topic you have covered in the week. Similarly revise all your topics at the end of each month. Lets talk something about biology which is another bid difficult subject for students. How to study biology and what cbse Biology sample papers you should practice. As we have already talk in our previous post that was about physics that students should study any subject like a story. If you are not taking interest that means you are wasting your time which is very precious . You will not find interest if the concepts are not clear to you. So always learn the basics first and then try for upper level to score the high marks in (central board of secondary education) CBSE board examination.



In the case of Biology, its all about theory. Biology is based on real life examples and it is all about you means human being, animals and nature. Understandings level may vary from student to student. Some students are naturally more intelligent and learn the concept just by hearing, some are lower as compare to them, in this case they need to understand topic by flow charts, visuals and diagrams. So just you need to judge yourself where you stand and try to learn accordingly. You can also talk the help of internet which can provide you several useful recourses.




Every students need to practice at least one hour daily and always study in details. Read your Biology theory as story and try to fix it in your mind. Try to cover 3 to 4 topics daily and don’t forget to revise them at least once in a week.

How to Attempt Question Paper to Get High Marks?


Some times student fails to get high marks though they have a good practice. Some time they got puzzle, some time they forget the answers and some times they do not attempt question answers in a proper way.


While you sit in examination hall and receive the question paper from the examiner, go through the question paper. First attempt the grammar section as it takes less time. Don’t devote much time if you are puzzle or have some doubt, leave the question and move to another. But don’t forget to mark UN attempted par in your question paper. Without wasting your time move to text book and attempt only those questions first in which you are more confident.


Leave proper gape between your answers. Highlight question number with black pen and underline that or mark circle over that, it facilitates examiner to find your question easily.
