IITTM - Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management: - It is organization under ministry of Tourism and Culture. It is one of the top most and premier institute in India. IITTM offers education, research and training in management of travel, tourism and other allied sectors. It is counted one of the top B Schools in the country. IITTM offers four types of Post Graduate Diploma Programmes (PGDM) and the programmes are approved by AICTE. IITTM offer accommodation facility for both girls and boys.

Fee Structure:

Fees for PGDM (S) and for PGDM (IB)

For the first year the fee would be around Rs. 1,04,000
For second year it would be around 1,03,000
and for the last year

Fees For PGDM (TT) and PGDM (TL)
Rs around 80,000 in first year and Rs.53,000 for the second year.

Eligibility:

A graduate in any discipline of a university or equivalent

Course Duration:

20 months or 4 semesters.

Now students would be taught yoga in the school soon. Yes, Soon it is becoming compulsory in schools to teach yoga to students in physical education. NCERT is ready with the syllabus and teacher guide. Test book are being prepared for the same.


Many schools in Bangalore teach yoga to students. It has been said that text books may be too bulky as physical education is practical oriented and if all the methods, technique in the books, it would results in bulky books. Few schools teach yoga during assembly but its not compulsory but there is not especial yoga teachers in the school for guidance.

Yoga is very important for each and every one and from the 1st class a student should be taught yoga. CBSE Board Exams optional CCE grading system coming

Good news for CBSE Xth class students. Now the CBSE Board exam for 10th Class is going to be optional from the next year and it would also be confirmed with a formal announcement with all the details, like what would the new system to replace 10th class board exams etc. It would be announced most probably on coming Friday 28th Ausgust 2009.


From the sources it has been come to know that CBSE has prepared the format of an aptitude exam for class x and schools can use it for the test on the basis of understanding level in different subject. Grading system would be implemented instead of marks. but it also has been said that CBSE is conducting surveys whether students still wants board examination for Xth class or not. Only after that it would be finalized whether new system would be introduced or not?



There is also a provision that there may be two options for the students first those who want to opt for board and the second for those who don’t. There many be another provision of online certification. There would be online demand test for those who don’t want to take the board exams but also want to get the certificate later on. This certificate would be equivalent to Xth class certificate exam. Let’s wait and look at the final decision

The common entrance test for the military school of India will be held on 20th December 2009 for the admission of students VI in Rashtriya Military School.
